cross country sledding

xc sledding is the sport of the future.
or maybe the sport of the past reborn into the future.
anyway, it's awesome.
you get a sled (obviously), lots of warm clothes, a backpack (with all your extra stuff), and head out into the woods (or wherever) in search of good sledding spots. drag the sled with your stuff on it until you find said spot, then go wild! pack up your stuff afterward and repeat.
fun will ensue.
it's probably the most fun one can have with snow. at least the kind that's not so great for snowballs.
i'm still greatly looking forward to spring and summer, though, despite the fun to be had in winter.
i'm already sick of being cold (and it hasn't been that cold really), and i want to get on the Trail. and hopefully the beach. maybe even at the same time...
