it's a holiday in covodea!

dave, scott, and myself went in convoy up to Covode friday night. we arrived in the dark, and unloaded all our stuff in the dark, and started a fire, and then it wasn't so dark.
we chilled, enjoying the fact we were on good old Covodean soil once again. we slept well that night.
on saturday, we kept the fort down (as it were), while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive: lindsay, rachel, kayleigh, and possibly jm, katie, harley, and mason. unfortunately, jm and crew could not make it, but the rest did.

so we had a giant pigout on foods of all sorts, and enjoyed the warm saturday weather.
the leaves are well into changing their colours, so i snapped a few photos of that...

wow, so yeah, it was a lot of fun.
i hadn't been up there in a couple of years, so it was nice to be reminded of all the memories and dreams from Covodea.
we had a nice sized gaggle of gluttons, but i wished that a few more individuals (people and dogs alike) could have been there... but circumstances being what they are, covode is always hard to summon large groups to.
