yinz guyz needs ta chill aht, leave dat dere big ben alone

okay, so the stillers lost against the (asshole) pats.
and ben made a few big mistakes in the game.
but let's not jump all over him and run him out of town for it!
i mean, need it be said a billionth time: he's a rookie. name one other rookie that had a record like his in the NFL, to say nothing of his record before he came up!
even when the steelers won superbowls, their record wasn't as good as this year.
so if you're mad at big ben, check the angst at the door and realize that although he made mistakes, he helped bring the steelers that far in the first place. and let's face it, the patriots played a hell of a game. they didn't really need to exploit our mistakes to do well, because they ran a tight game.
the refs weren't much help either. i don't mean to sound like the refs tried to screw us, but, um... who the hell calls unnecessary roughness on someone who's already falling down, after ignoring no less than four other instances of the same behaviour from the other team?! do they get together and decide to watch only the steelers because we're playing at home? yeah, the stillers can be mean and beat some head when they want to, but c'mon! that was a clean game on our part, and the patriots were blatant assholes.
tom brady (the pat's QB) actually spit towards a ref when they reversed a call in favor of pittsburgh. um, unsportsmanlike conduct anyone?
blind asshole refs.
but what's done is done, and there's always next year. i mean, if ben could help pull off a 15-1 record in his first year, i don't think next year (or the next few) will be too shabby.
of course, the Bus will most likely be gone next year, but that just means Duce will have to step it up a notch.
dem stillers'll be aight fer next year, i'm tellin' yinz.

p.s. - i don't really talk with a pittsburgh accent; i'm using it in jest. in fact, if anyone can tell i have any hint of that stupid sounding accent, please tell me so i can work it out of my speech. just sayin'


p.p.s. - let it be said once again that the word "yinz" is stupid because the word "you" requires no pluralization. "you" is already plural, and the singular form used to be "thou". so it's pluralizing an already plural word. dumb.
