my hand smells like jeff goldblum

emmy and i went to phipps today to see the butterfly forest. we saw many pretty butterflies, cool bonsai, and some koi. i took many pictures (which i shall post pretty soon). then we went to LuLu's for some yummy pad thai (vegetarian style, no egg) and some spring rolls. it was awesome. we had such a fun day...

then we were walking back to the car through the museum parking lot, and we saw jeff goldblum.

really. jeff goldblum from the fly, jurassic park, and race for the double helix, among many others. i knew right away it was him... stylish glasses and chewing gum, i didn't need the double-take to confirm it.

i've always loved his acting style, and his quirky behavior.

we walked up, shook his hand and had a small chat. he's really cool. down to earth, friendly, and very approachable (even if he is 6'4", just an inch taller than me). he acted almost as if we were already acquainted, or knew us somehow. i didn't want to be that guy that fawns all over his favorite movie star, so i didn't ask him for an autograph. but dummy that i am, i didn't even think to ask him if i could snap a picture of him!! i know i know...what kind of photographer am i? and what kind of fan?!

but our hands both smelled like jeff goldblum's patchouli smell for a few hours.

we liked it. is that too weird?

oh well!

i met jeff goldblum!
