the flame imperishable

and so the time comes to the man out of time.
born of the Lion under the Jewels of the Swan on that long ago Day Out of Time, the gift of god, fire from the lord, must choose.
the flame held small smolders and dies, while the flame kindled brightens and grows.
with my eye to the Yellow Sun, the Blue Rabbit, the Red River, and the Black Road, i set forth.
sometimes singly, sometimes accompanied, but always, forever Alone and Hopefull, i wander and wonder, learning all i dare.
a ten-thousandth part of the Great Wheel have i come, and have forever yet to go.
i'm on my way...
